Fighting Against Future.

He who fights the future has a dangerous enemy. The future is not; it borrows its strength from the man himself and when it has tricked him out of this, then it appears outside his as the enemy he must meat.
Soren Kierkegard
This quotation come from a seminar I attended yesterday in our school with the subject of “Environment and Design” by James Wines the author of the book Green Architecture. As he said the age of industry and technology is over. While many architecture students are still trying to get their lessons from famous architects of post industrial age like Le Corbusier, Rem Koolhaas, Bernard Tschumi, and Peter Eisenman. Now it is the age of information and ecology. I agree with Charles Jankes when he said in his book Architecture 2000 that philosophers in specific period of time decide that it is now the time for the death of something, the death of art, the death of god, the death of philosophy. What I’m trying to say is we, Iranians, have been a blind copy maker of others ideas in the category of contemporary architecture.
