Learning instead of Teaching!
“In a society which emphasizes teaching, children and students-and adults-become passive and unable to think or act for themselves. Creative, active individuals can only grow up in a society which emphasizes learning instead of teaching.”*
It is very true for eastern societies in compare to western ones. People in eastern societies including my own country Iran are always waiting for heroes, leaders and managers to come and help, make big decisions, and release them from a huge sorrow. Children’s thought are not respected. So they learn to grow up in the warm and well-being environment of sitting and allowing other people think instead of them.
