Calgary and Tehran!

Theses days I’m participating in a symposium called 21st century and urban design strategies. The conference is mostly concentrated on the subject of “sense of place” and all the other important issue that makes a city a viable and memorable place to live or to remember.
In the symposium held by professors*from all over Canada, fortunately Calgary had a good reputation between designers as a live city and Ottawa were a good example of a dead city!
In the list of 10 top cities in the world which Vancouver got the first rank and Calgary got the 5th place, Tehran is the worst city in the world to live in!! These results given by professionals gave me a little more confidences about choosing Calgary as the place of my studying.

*including well known professors from university of Toronto, UBC, Unibersity of Manitoba,...
