Olga and My Earrings!
I have a couple of earrings that is a gift from my mother, a gift from her mother either. Because it is an old style, I had never seen any similar earrings to mine. I also love it because I feel I have something from my mother with me all the time.
Today in c-train station, I saw a very pretty woman who was wearing the same earnings. My curiosity was so much that I couldn’t stop asking her how she had got her earrings. My earrings were old ones from Iran, and she seemed to be European!
I was not surprised when she said her earrings were gift from her ground mother either. She was originally from Russia and she had been living in Calgary for the last two years. Her name was Olga. Sweet pretty Olga, a dancer, reminded me the character of actresses in Krzysztof Kieslowski movies, the great Polish director, specially his three colors trilogy (Blue / White / Red).
