For Mimosa and her great heart

Today was a bad day; I know that I had to call my friends in Calgary and I heard the death news of one of my close friends, Mimosa. She was studying planning in University of Calgary and she had two nice kids. We were sitting beside each other when I was working on my thesis last summer. We were joking all the time and she was nice to everyone. I heard that she had defended her thesis in hospital. I never knew that Mimosa had cancer; she recently got PhD admission and a prestigious award.
I work voluntarily for Canadian Cancer Society and last week at the ceremony “relay for life”, I met many people who were survived. It was very promising to see so many people survived from cancer. I am so sorry for Mimosa, and I have a bad feeling for her pretty daughters who lost their mother a few hours ago. Peace be upon her!
