Grow incrementaly!

There is an expression in the principles of city design which I think can be expanded to the whole life and that is “incremental growth”.
It means the growth in a city should happen gradually, in other words growth should not and cannot happen suddenly and the results should not be expected to be seen immediately.
In life, it can be a good advise for people having a long life project not to be disappointed in the middle of the way and not to compare their lives with others trapped in temporary growth.
Also, in terms of personal relationships it can be interpreted that successful personal relationship does not happen all of a sudden it needs time, effort and patience.
