I ask myself...

There is a foot court in the student centre of University of Calgary. Sometimes when I go there for having coffee, I start asking myself questions about my life, and about other people’s lives.

In the foot court, carefully I watch people who clean the tables; I mean I really watch them. They are doing the exact thing at the same place they were working last year. Some of them have a very simple face seems to be satisfied and thankful of what they have.
Though some of them may not be happy, I remember when I was working in the food court of our school at my first semester. On those days, I had a very bad feeling while all those 19 years old undergrad students came to me ask me to put more tomatoes on their sandwiches!

The same thing happens to me, when I see the same people in the Gym and in C-train in the way back home. I ask myself, I was seeing all these people last year at the same shape, what big changes have happened in my life and in their lives during this year.
In the C-train, I see some students who were taking some computer courses with me at SAIT last year at the same time, they are still taking computer courses. I tell myself, how my life have changed after that computer course, how God has been kind to me through this year, and how I should appreciate all of these good happenings.

I read an article about a girl whose mother is condemned for stone to death. His father has been a drug addicted and brought men for her mother and forced her to have relationship with them to be able to pay for his drugs, and I ask myself how some people are struggling with real great problems in their lives. How their lives have been a great challenge between life and death all the time, and how they have had a deep sigh on their heart every night before they went to bed and every morning they started a new life!

I was searching for the relationship between an elementary school and the community that I came across the following pictures and asked my self the same questions….
