Christmas time

Even though, I spent 4 hours this evening to find a ribbon that matches its rapping paper for the gifts I had bought, I have a good feeling that I'm not lost in the consumerism life of Christmas time. It's good to do shopping, especially if its for others and it's good to wear beautiful clothes, but I am happy that I can live without the exaggerated materialism of North America. It's good to get happy by small things, especially because people sometimes forget the art of enjoying small things and short moments in life, but it is important to have important things to think about as well.
By important, I mean doing something different in this world or improving the "quality" of life on earth in ones own way.

p.s: I am still on my promise of not buying clothes and accessories for myself, I have only bought a perfume for myself recently.
