A lesson that I learned late.

We were sitting in a coffee shop in Toronto. I was very upset and was complaining about many things that I don’t have instead of being thankful about what I have. Then you showed me that disable woman crossing the window beside us and asked me to notice how happy she was just because of being able to breath the fresh air. You added that there are always a lot of small things to lose and one will not know the value of them unless she lose them.
I lost my cell phone a few days later. I had never thought that losing a trivial thing could make me so nurvous. After that day, I have reviewed our conversation in my mind for many times and every time I give a new value to it.
Life belongs to those who are thankful because of what they have and try to take the most advantage of it. The never ending effort to have better life but always enjoying the present facilities was a lesson that I learnt very late.
