On the streets....
This is Wednesday, Dec 13 morning. I am full of a confident feeling and the weather of Toronto is very pleasant; infact, for me having experienced the weather of Calgary any other kind of weather is pleasant! This weather reminds me of my city Shiraz whose weather is like spring throughout the year.
Maryam and I hung out on Monday night; we walked on Queen Street West. Queen West and King West are from my favorite streets in Toronto. In King Street, one can see a mixture of loft style buildings; infill new buildings fit between old ones and renovated old and industrial buildings whose doors and windows are replaced with new elements having a nice contrast with fade out brick rusticated facades.
A passer-by can make a visual connection with people lying down in old looking sofas of European style small cafes of Queen West, people usually come there to sit and gap and seem reluctant to move.
